The STEREODYNAMICS 2008 meeting will be held in
Oct. 13–18, 2008 at the Bayshore Hotel Dalian in
the city of Dalian, China. This stereodynamics meeting,
the 12th of its series, will be focused on experimental
and theoretical studies of the stereodynamics of
chemical reactions in gas phases, and chemical reactions
on interfaces and in the condensed media. The meeting
will highlight the most recent advances made in this
fundamental research field and will offer invited
lectures, hot-topic presentations, and poster sessions.
In addition, this meeting will inaugurate the first
Bernstein Award, in honor of the late Prof. Richard
Bernstein’s seminal contributions to the field of
stereodynamics research.
The city of Dalian sits on the southern tip of the
Liaodong Peninsula in the northeastern part of China,
facing the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea. Dalian is also
a major industrial and tourist port city with a
beautiful coast around the city.
Dalian can be easily reached internationally via
Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong within China.
Connections via Seoul and Tokyo are also possible. All
